Ourlads' Profile:
2018 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about CHASE LITTON: Marshall, 6050 230 4.95. Junior entry and three-year starter from Tampa, FL. After using 2014 to redshirt, Litton took over as the starter three weeks into 2015 and never looked back. Went on to start 34 games, winning 20 of them. While it came as a surprise to see Litton leave with another year of eligibility left, the strong armed, big signal caller has enough quality tape to warrant a draft pick day three. Excels as a passer on the move. While his athletic ability leaves a lot to be desired, his accuracy on rollouts was consistent. Shows no fear in trying to make the tight throws. His release is quick and efficient. Has enough juice to flick his wrist and put the ball on a rope with a smooth spiral and very catchable ball. Understands how and when to use touch and was especially productive inside the 10-yard line. He struggles with decision making and adjusting on the fly. His simple-read offensive scheme made things easy for him at times, but when he had to be innovative or adjust on the fly, he struggled. Threw a career high 14 interceptions in his third year as a starter. Doesn’t engage his lower body enough causing the ball to sail. Struggled with throws up the seam between linebackers and safeties. A late round project who could simply need more time to refine technique and overall knowledge of the game. The tools are there, however. A size prospect who produces with limitations. 2017 stats: 266/443, 3115 yds, 60%, 25 TD, 14 INT, 12 yds rushing, 1 TD, 131.4 QB rating. Ball velocity 55 mph. OSR:17/ 18. Sixth/seventh round. (A-32 1/4, H-9 3/8, SS-4.53, VJ-29.5).
