FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL

#66 – Jordan Budwig – OG – 6’4/311

Sixth year senior that completely missed 2015 and 2016 to injury.  Besides that, he has started every game of his career.  Second Team All Conference USA in 2018.  Mauler in the run game, a real line-mover. He can create a new point of attack with his initial punch but the foot speed is questionable at best.  I have only seen him twice but I had multiple notes regarding his struggles laterally.  Still a guy that could end up draftable.

Other Notables:

#23 - Napolean Maxwell – RB – 6’0/213

#5 – Edwin Freeman – LB – 6’1/250

TOLEDO

*#3 – Diontae Johnson – WR – 5’11/181

Fourth year junior that I wouldn’t be surprised to see come out.  A lot of talking surrounding Cody Thompson, but Johnson is their top playmaker.  Two years in a row he was named 1st Team All MAC as a receiver and a returner.  He has 4 return touchdowns over the past 2 years in addition to 1,900+ receiving yards.  Really quick and assertive, plays at a speed faster than his opponent, no matter who it is.  I don’t say that about many guys.  He won't win a lot of contested battles, but he will make plays.  No doubt.  Maybe a 2nd/3rdrounder.

#25 – Cody Thompson – WR – 6’2/205

Fifth year senior that has begun his career re-writing the program’s single season record book.  Unfortunately he suffered a pretty bad leg injury in 2017 that required surgery.  I saw him a few times in 2018 and just didn’t see enough separation stemming from speed and quickness.  He is smart, runs good routes, and catches balls from all angles.  His workouts will be key to his grade but no matter what, he will be drafted.  Most likely day three.

Other Notables:

#7 Jon’Vea Johnson – WR – 6’0/188

#71 Brock Ruble – OT – 6’7/328

#13 Ka’Dar Hollman – CB – 6’0/190

WESTERN MICHIGAN

#52 – John Keenoy – OC – 6’3/300

Four year starter that has been 2nd Team All MAC twice, 1st team once.  Has been the leader of the line and brings a high level of intelligence to the table.  Productive pass blocker, knows how to move his feet and keep his hands inside.

Other Notables:

#33 Eric Assoua – DE – 6’2/240

BYU

#16 – Sione Takitaki – LB – 6’2/230

Fifth year senior with an interesting story.  Was originally a defensive end but he lost 20 pounds prior to 2017 and broke out as an off-ball linebacker, winning the team’s defensive MVP award.  He got his head on straight after a couple years of immaturity-based on issues with the coaches and has quietly been a very good player.  BYU doesn’t get a lot of attention but this kid plays as aggressive and physical as any LB in the nation.   If he can time out well enough, I think he is an early day three pick.

#90 Corbin Kaufusi – DE – 6’9/275

Brother to Bronson, currently of the Jets and formerly a 3rd round pick by the Ravens.  Not quite the prospect his brother was but the size, reach, and presence at the point of attack will be attractive.  However, similar to his brother, his movement is just awkward and slow.  Lacks balance and control, won’t beat anyone up the edge.  Late day three guy that can fit in to the multiple front schemes. May not play in the bowl game due to injury.

Other Notables:

#22 Squally Canada – RB - 5’11/210

#71 Austin Hoyt – OT – 6’7/318
