COLLEGE FOOTBALL PICKS (WEEK 7)

Ourlads’ Football Network host Greg DePalma and Athlon managing editor Mitch Light get together each Thursday to analyze top matchups on the week’s college football schedule and make predictions. Catch OFN College Weekly for their full exchange.

* denotes featured play

No.2 GEORGIA (6-0) vs. No.13 LSU (5-1)

Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. Site: Tiger Stadium, Baton Rouge, La.

TV: CBS. Line: Georgia by 7.

Greg: *Georgia. Mitch: *Georgia.

Mitch says: “(Georgia will) give up some yards. Vanderbilt had 220 yards against them in the first half, Missouri ran the ball well against them. That’s my only slight concern going forward. But Georgia is just so dynamic on offense.”

No.7 WASHINGTON (5-1) at No.17 OREGON (4-1)

Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. Site: Autzen Stadium, Eugene, Ore.

TV: ABC/ESPN2. Line: Washington by 3.

Greg: *Oregon. Mitch: Oregon.

Greg says: “This Washington team does not impress me. They’re going to lose sooner or later again. … Oregon’s had a week to prepare for this one. Boy, are they chomping at the bit to get revenge over this program, and I think they’re going to get it.”

No.15 WISCONSIN (4-1) at No.12 MICHIGAN (5-1)

Kickoff: 7:30 p.m. Site: Michigan Stadium, Ann Arbor, Mich.

TV: ABC. Line: Michigan by 10.

Greg: Michigan. Mitch: Michigan.

Mitch says: “This Michigan defense has been so good. … After that first quarter against Notre Dame, Michigan has been great defensively. Maryland had a special-teams touchdown last week, but no one’s scoring on Don Brown’s defense. I think Michigan shuts down Wisconsin.”

No.16 MIAMI (5-1) at VIRGINIA (3-2)

Kickoff: 7 p.m. Site: Scott Stadium, Charlottesville, Va.

TV: ESPN2. Line: Miami by 7.

Greg: Miami. Mitch: Virginia.

Mitch says: “I like (QB) Bryce Perkins; I like this Virginia team. They’re scrappy. (UM faces) a little bit of a letdown, and that Miami offense… that North Carolina game, they didn’t do much either. Three non-offensive touchdowns. (QB N’Kosi) Perry’s efficiency hasn’t been great.”
