1. Booker, Tyler*
Alabama 6050 332
Three year starter, New Haven, CT. Consensus All-SEC in 2023. Was named Freshman All-SEC in 2022. Has the ideal frame for an interior blocker. This versatile interior lineman is explosive off the ball and will maul defensive tackles. Always looking for work, does an excellent job getting to the second level and can run down linebackers and backend defenders in space. On the power runs he pulls and squares up on linebacker squarely. Good lateral quickness, footwork is outstanding. This guard looks ready for the next level, right now. Gets his hands on you now, brings his feet and x’s out the defensive lineman. Keeps his back end and shoulder pads down, and rolls his hips through contact. Solid pass protection he uses strong hands and knee bend to stun a bull rush and reacts well to inside stunts and counter moves. Very well-schooled. Will aim too high at times and not get movement in run blocks, but he is an elite guard prospect.
2. Jackson, Donovan
Ohio State 6040 300
Three year starter, Cypress, TX. Donovan was a five star recruit and the number one ranked player in the state of Texas coming out of high school. A two-time All-Big Ten guard and two time Academic All-Big Ten. Passes the “eyeball test” with imposing size. Made his first 2024 start from an undisclosed injury in week three against Marshall. Great pad level and strength at the point of attack. Clamps defender and moves him out. He consistently takes play side shoulder from the defender creating a crease to run. Has power at the point of attack and can come off a double team to get to the second level. In pass protection he can punch and mirror while knocking the defender’s hands away. Consistent to keep defenders at bay. Will lunge at times losing some balance. Is a next level talent, nothing in his game shies away from “big boy” football. Needs to continue this season on the path begun against Marshall.
3. Savaiinaea, Jonah*
Arizona 6050 336
A two year starter from Tafuna, American Samoa. Honorable mention All-Pac-12 in both his freshman and sophomore seasons. Versatile offensive lineman with starting experience at guard and tackle. Started at guard as a freshman and is currently working at right tackle. This big strong, tackle/guard will clamp defensive linemen and make them run in place. Believe he will be best suited as a guard. Keeps a good low pad level, and is explosive on contact. He’s versatile as a move lineman in the unbalanced line. Pretty much locked on to end man on the line of scrimmage as a tackle. Has an excellent punch in pass protection but needs to finish more consistently particularly with moving quarterback. Occasionally aims a little high on his punch. When running in space, he sometimes loses sight of his target. His strength and physical stature should help him succeed at the next level. His versatility is a plus.
4. Ratledge, Tate
Georgia 6050 315
Three year starter, Rome, GA. First team All-SEC in 2023 and second team All-America. Former high school tight end. His father, Dean, played football at Tennessee Tech from 1974-77. Is a member of the Outland Trophy Watch List and the Lombardi Award Watch List. Big man who gets his hands inside on the defender. Physical and athletic guard with ideal length. Gets his backend into the hole and turns the defender. Straight ahead get off is explosive, gets hip to hip with the center and moves the one technique backwards. Secures the double team before climbing. Excellent fundamentals in pass protection, he uses his length well to keep defenders from getting upfield. Well-schooled, sits down against the bull rush. Passes off the twist effortlessly. Has had some injury issues and was injured week three against Kentucky. Will miss significant time with a leg injury.
5. Frazier, Miles
LSU 6060 335
Three year starter at LSU, Camden, NJ. Transferred from Florida International where he played two seasons including one as a starter. Was a Freshman All-American at FIU. Has now spent the last three seasons at LSU. Has started 30 of 31 games as a right guard in Baton Rouge. Has a next level sized frame with long arms for pass protection. Keeps his feet in the grass with a solid base. His short pull across the hole is quick. Good hand placement with a powerful punch. Generally keeps his feet active in pass protection with decent lateral movement. Well-schooled like most of the LSU linemen. It appears Miles has a nasty edge to his play as he shows intensity and plays hard to the whistle. Slips up neatly to get out on tunnel screens. Pad level can get high at times and footwork can be inconsistent. Overall a solid interior prospect.
