Ourlads' Profile:
2022 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about NATE LANDMAN:
Colorado, 6024 238 4.85. Four-year starter, Danville, CA. Second-team All-Pac 12 in 2021. Has a muscular build with solid height for the position. Shows leadership skill as the captain of the Buffalo defense. Smart player, he is adept at reading keys and fitting inside gaps. Instinctive from tackle to tackle getting downhill and closing running lanes. Shows solid square up tackle skill inside. Flashes block protection and can slip a block scraping off-tackle. Has a feel for zone coverage finding the throwing lane and passing off shallow crossing routes. Lacks agility to quickly change directions and can get lost in the wash. Has some trouble tackling in space. Lacks explosiveness attacking straight up blocks and can get stalemated. Limited range in pursuit affects ability to chase to the perimeter. Lacks twitch to match backs out of the backfield on any extended route. Not one to quickly break on the throw. Never seemed to fully recover from a 2020 Achilles tear at this point. He does enough things well to warrant a late pick. His ability to play the run and play serviceable zone defense could make him a backup candidate.
2021 stats: 63 T, 6 TFL, 4 PBU, 1 QBH, 1 FF. OSR:35/42. Seventh round/PFA. (A-30 1/2, H-9 3/8, BP-20, 10-1.63).
