Three-year starter. Earned first-team All-Patriot League in both 2023 and 2022. He is an above average athlete who struggles to turn his speed into power. Does not bring a lot of force to the engagement with defenders, but he can stay attached. The quality foot work and twitchy lower half attached to a pro-caliber frame will give him a fighting chance. He did not dominate a low version of college football, but he did have standout traits at that level. Has a quality pre-draft process, notably at the East-West Shrine week. There is a ceiling worth exploring with the upside of being a quality backup that sticks around because his combination of tools can be hard to find. Sudden and balanced post-snap. Consistently puts himself in a good position. Will sit his hips down with a flat back and eyes up. Shows potential as a mover up to the second level with snappy hands. Does not anchor well against the bull rush. Play strength will need serious enhancement before he gets on the field. Needs better and more variation with his hands in pass protection. Lateral stiffness shows up when he needs to adjust late.
