USC | HT: 5096 | WT: 174 | 40 time: 4.52 | Arm: 2918 | Hand: 0838 | Wing: 7000
Four-year starter. All-Pac 12 in both 2023 and 2022. Spent two seasons at Memphis prior to transferring to USC. He was with the Trojans prior to the Lincoln Riley/Caleb Williams era. With and without them, Washington was always one of the top two most productive receivers in this offense. His size screams slot receiver and that is where he lined up mostly within the Riley scheme. Lined up primarily outside through the front half of his career. No matter where he starts, the greatest trait he brings to the offense is playmaking post-catch. He combines the kind of athletic ability that made him a three-time state champion track star in high school with a strong competitive style of play. Will be a welcomed addition to an offense that needs an explosive and aggressive slot receiver, however the lack of return experience could hurt him from standing out among the competition at the position. Productive with a quality athletic profile. Sudden burst and change of direction enable him to find space underneath as a route runner. Competitive nature enables him to create after the catch. Plays at different tempos, showing high on-field IQ. Productive in different offenses and roles. Diminutive frame in multiple ways. Small hands will show up as a pass catcher at times. Does not have strong or consistent ball skills. Needs to sharpen his routes.
2023 Stats: 59-1062, 18.0 ypr, 8 TD. Draft projection: 5th-7th round
