Four-year starter. Third-team All-America and first-team All-MVFC this past season with second-team honors in 2022. Typically aligns at nose tackle as a zero or one-tech. Possesses solid height and quality weight for a nose tackle with very short arms. Times up the snap well and shows impressive explosiveness off the line. Wins on engagement with low pad level to win leverage. Wide frame and difficult to move in the trenches. Maintains his balance while engaged and is never on the ground. Versatility to play in either one-gap or two-gap schemes. An incredibly powerful penetrator who fires into gaps with a purpose. Excellent strength at the point-of-attack and gets notable push into the backfield when playing with leverage. His non-stop motor makes him a challenge to block. Detaches from blocks with strong hands to shed and stack. Displays a solid anchor to take on double-teams as he drops his weight and holds his own. Shows some successful pass rush moves to win, especially his swim move. Collapses the pocket using his power to flush the quarterback out of the pocket. High effort player in pursuit.
