Four-year starter. All-ACC in 2023. McMahon is an experienced interior lineman who has played a lot of football at all three spots. He was primarily a guard until he was shifted to center because of injuries in 2022. He projects to stay at center because of his body type. The explosive athlete does not always play as fast as he is capable of because of technical shortcomings. There is more in him than what he has shown on tape but considering how much football he has played, there may not be much more to chew off when it comes to potential. His value will increase if he can prove to be more than a center-only prospect. Gets his hands where they need to be initially. Inside position with the proper leverage. Excels in zone blocking schemes. Can combo block and will smoothly peel off to second level with his feet underneath his hips. Shot caller that has vast experience at all three interior spots. Forecasts stunts and blitzes well. Does not play fast as a reaction-blocker. Gets lazy with his footwork and will fold from the waist. Too many penalties for an interior blocker. Lack of reach and natural bend will give him frequent initial losses.
