Junior entry, two-year starter. Unanimous All-America in both 2023 and 2022, a first for receivers in program history. Earned first-team All-Big 10 both seasons. Biletnikoff Award winner in 2023. Son of 13-year veteran and Hall of Fame receiver Marvin Harrison. Harrison Jr. is a factory-engineered playmaker who can align anywhere pre snap, run all routes at a high level, and cleanly catch any ball within striking distance. He can make the “wow” play look easy and routine and as long as he remains focused on fine tuning the small things and add strength, his future in the league will belong with the league’s true number one receivers. Silky smooth athlete who makes it look easy. A natural mover both with and without the ball. Bendy, mobile lower half that can swivel from the hips-down while staying square to his intended path. Calculated footwork will maximize his positioning and separation in tight spaces. Easy coordination with the ball in the air. Late hands and ability to twist and rotate his body to errant throws. Uses different gears to set up defenders and has the top gear to run away from defensive backs. Savvy after the catch with good vision and understanding of the holes in a defense. Will get caught up at the point of attack as a route runner. Needs to play with more urgency and grit. Does not break a lot of tackles and overall competitiveness and body language need to sharpen up. Does not separate downfield the way an athlete like him should.
