Ourlads' Profile:

2020 Guide: What Ourlads' Scouting Services said about AJ GREEN: Oklahoma State, 6014 202 4.65. Three-year starter, DeSoto, TX. Honorable mention All-Big 12 in 2019. Has desired size and length for the position. Played a variety of coverage including Cover 3, quarters and hard corner Cover 2. Played both press and off coverage including press man. In off coverage shows a quick back pedal. Maintains cushion as long as possible. Physical on route breaks to disrupt route. In press man will jam at the line or react and jam on the turn. Effective mixing alignments at times stepping up to jam. Sticky and disruptive in press to the point where quarterbacks often come off his side. Physical hard corner technique with good vision to see quarterback and balance high low routes. In off coverage normally maintains leverage with vision to see the quarterback and receiver. Quick to break on the throw using his length to get to the catch point. Makes some big hits tackling. Doesn’t always wrap but generally gets the job done. Plays from behind at times too often relying on his length to bail him out. Can get grabby recovering when separated. Not the most physical attacking blocks and can get washed out. Speed to stay in phase is questionable but NFL style coverage experience and ball skills could win him a job. Special teams will be a factor. Senior Bowl notes: Displayed solid cover skills all week winning most of his one-on-one battles. Mirrored route breaks and broke hard on the throw. Consistent with jam to disrupt receivers on release. During the game targeted only once and stayed in phase on an incompletion. 2019 stats: 49 T, 1 TFL, 5 PBU, 1 INT (1 TD). OSR:28/29. Fourth/fifth round. (A- 30 7/8, H-9, VJ-DNP, SS-DNP).
