Ourlads' Profile:

2020 Guide: What Ourlads' Scouting Services said about KE'SHAWN VAUGHN: Vanderbilt, 5095 214 4.50. Two-year starter, Nashville, TN. Spent his first two seasons at Illinois before transferring. In 2018 he led the SEC in yards per carry and rushed for the second most yards in a season in school history. His production didn’t quite match that level in 2019, as he was nicked up throughout the year and he played behind a porous offensive line. Runs with attitude, sometimes a bit too much. But more often than not his emotion is an asset to his game, as he fights through arm tackles and gains plenty of yards after contact. He will be NFL ready right away as part of a committee, but will need to bulk up if he wants to be an every-down back. Patiently aggressive runner who has the knack for finding the lanes and deciding when to turn it on. A multi-gear runner who can turn it up and down the moment it is needed. Good vision in traffic and in the open field. Anticipates the defense with choppy feet, ready to go in any direction. Very balanced runner who takes on contact with a low center of gravity and the desire to get yards after contact. Determined, intense player who wants to out-will a defense over time. Good effort and pop as a blocker, will keep his feet moving and give quality secondary contact. Catches the ball well and shows great patience and production in the screen game. Not built to take an every down beating. Has a hard time getting up when he takes a big hit. Has small hands. Will run a little too upright between the tackles, doesn’t always fall forward. Has a tendency to bounce to the outside too often. Hips aren’t loose enough to run with an outside-dependent scheme. 2019 stats: 1028 yds, 5.2 ypc, 9 TD, 28 rec, 270 yds, 9.6 ypr, 1 TD. OSR:15/33. Fourth/fifth round. (A-31, H-8 7/8, BP-DNP, SS-DNP).
