His easy knee bend helps him win the leverage battle consistently. When he has his hands in the right spot, he will win the lockout game and hold his ground. There is also a good amount of grit and hustle to his game, and it will provide quality secondary pass rush. There is a lot of stiffness to him, and he still has a lot to develop when it comes to natural flow and rush. He can be a quality backup at the next level in time. Well put together frame with functional thickness throughout. No bad weight anywhere, carries his mass with ease. Violent initial contact with the blocker, showing natural lockout strength and will derive good power from his hips on up. Can play low. Knee bender that is comfortable playing beneath the pads of his opponent. Feisty through engagement that performs well with the secondary rush. Hustler with a consistent engine switch. Lateral tightness shows up even in a phone booth. Lacks wiggle and left to right twitch. Linear athlete. Needs more refined rush moves. Does not seem to have much of a plan as a pass rusher. Leans into the line and plays slow and hesitant. Poor against the double team, gives up too much ground when working his way laterally against the run.
