Ourlads' Profile:

2020 Guide: What Ourlads' Scouting Services said about K'VON WALLACE: Clemson, 5110 206 4.53. Two-year starter, Richmond, VA. Third-team all-conference in 2019. Played in the box at nickel and deep safety. Has experience in man and zone coverage. A good athlete who is overall solid in run support with downhill tracking ability and instincts to fit the alley. Can slip blocks on the move and chase on the perimeter. Effective blitzer inside and out as he is quick to anticipate the snap and get into a gap. Consistently disrupted run and pass plays on the blitz. Explosive tackler with an aggressive strike, wrap, and finish. Solid zone defender with good vision to see route progressions and the quarterback. Ball skills improved in 2019 as he flashed quickness reacting on the throw and getting his hands to the catch point. As a deep zone defender can get over the top of a vertical receiver. Can match tight ends and some slots in man but could get out of phase covering faster receivers on vertical routes. Turn and run could be labored at times. At his best in the box as there was some hesitation getting downhill from the deep zones. Could get out of position reacting to multiple receivers in deep coverage. Has been used successfully on kick coverage teams in past seasons. Size and toughness makes him a nickel/hybrid candidate. 2019 stats: 71 T, 3 TFL, 2 sacks, 10 PBU, 1 QBH, 2 INT (1 TD). OSR:5/24. Fourth/fifth round. (A-31, H-9 1/8, VJ-38, SS-4.15).
