Ourlads' Profile:
2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about JANARIUS ROBINSON: Florida State, 6050 266 4.69. Three-year starter, Panama City, FL. Has been one of the team’s steadier defensive line contributors over his final three seasons. Led the defensive line in both tackles and tackles for loss the past two seasons. Has an elite tool set across the board. Big on all levels with a rare wingspan (86 ¼”). There are some movement-based shortcomings where he won’t play to his timed speed. Has never quite been a true edge threat in the passing game but if he can learn to use rush moves, clean up some lower body stability, and play with more confidence he has the ability to be a starter. May be a couple years away from that level but he can be a rotational asset to multiple schemes. Elite, rare sized frame. As wide as he is long, increasing the odds of him being a defender that is impossible for a blocker to latch onto. Can play with solid knee bend and derive a lot of power from his lower body. Really disciplined off the snap when it comes to making reads and playing assignment football. Strong presence in the running game. Gets movement off the ball and will maintain his position. Has the skill set to be moved around the defensive front pre-snap. Lacks the true and easy burst up the edge to beat tackles on their outside shoulder. Underdeveloped and inconsistent hand techniques when engaged with a pass blocker. Needs more stability and control to maximize his ability to move. 2020 stats: 26 T, 7 TFL, 3 sacks, 1 PBU, 5 QBH, 1 BK. Sixth/ seventh round. (A-35 3/4, H-11, BP-25, 10-1.64).
