Ourlads' Profile:
2020 Guide: What Ourlads' Scouting Services said about HAKEEM ADENIJI: Kansas, 6043 302 5.19. Four-year starter, Garland, TX. Has experience at both tackle spots. A first-team All Big 12 honoree. Spent his entire career at tackle, but because of his size and lateral movement issues he is destined for a move to guard. He is an effective straight ahead blocker who fires out of his stance and gets violent pop on the defender. The issues with him are technique based, most notably with his footwork. He struggles to maintain the mirror and lock-on if the defender goes left or right. There are developmental tools here though and he could play tackle in a pinch. A violent puncher that will bench press the defender to create consistent movement off the ball. Fires out of his stance as a run blocker and creates pop. Will get his hips involved and roll them into the action straight ahead. A fighter who hustles hard and keeps his feet active. Plays low to the ground with easy and natural knee bend. A straight line athlete who gives his blocking an all-or-nothing feel to it. Initial contact is inconsistent. Struggles to recover. Needs to stay under control when moving to the second level. OSR:16/41. Fourth/fifth round. (A-33 7/8, H-10, BP-26, 10-1.80).
