Has the length, speed and agility which are attributes coveted at corner in the NFL. Primarily used as a press corner he used a variety of technique including press and jam, press and react, and press and bail. At times when bailing he would collision a few yards up field. He made it tough on receivers to get a clean release. As a zone defender was a deep outside corner often bailing from press. Rarely gives up leverage in press and can ride a receiver on a slant using length to break up the pass. Fluid hips allow him to easily turn and run on a vertical outside release. Has the speed to stay in phase up the field and stay on the hip of a receiver. Mirror ability is outstanding as he keeps focus on the receiver and plays the hands with the ball in the air. Adept at under cutting route breaks. Solid tackling skill he can be quick to force the edge run and tackle in space. When breaking on a throw drives through tackles. At times when not pressing or bailing he will give up a slant and slightly round off a reaction. However he is quick to recover and rarely gives up yards after the catch. As primarily a press corner there will have to be some development in other techniques. At the NFL level he will play more off coverage and be asked to straight backpedal. While he has four interceptions he still needs to do a more consistent job playing the ball and catch point.
