Junior entry, two-year starter, McDonough, GA. Two-time first team All-AAC. His father, Anthony, played for eight seasons in the NFL as an undrafted free agent, winning a Super Bowl with the Ravens in 2001. The undersized back took on a lot of touches over his final two years at East Carolina. His 1,452 rushing yards in 2022 were the second most in program history and most since 1996. He runs a slippery, evasive style that can miss contact and burst away from pursuers. His best traits show up the most when he can get into space. Falls well below the desired size metrics for pro backs; thus will most likely need to find a niche-role in an offense that allows him to get out in space. Will miss contact from defenders with late and subtle movement. Has incredible ability to stick his foot in the ground and hit small creases inside. Takes advantage of overaggressive tacklers. Shows the ability to set them up and react after they give their intentions. Has a burst to explode in the open field. Experienced receiver who can run a variety of routes. Will not push piles and too often goes down on initial contact. Runs backwards way too many times. At times will run to the sideline instead of turning up. Has had a few drops as a receiver but normally has solid hands. He’s had little impact as a blocker. Will need a specific role but he has scat back potential and should be able to create explosive plays in the open field. Was not used much as a returner due to his load but has shown the skill and could find a home on special teams. 1452 yds, 7.2 ypc, 14 TD, 27 rec, 252 yds, 9.3 ypr, 1 TD, 5-133 KOR, 26.6 avg.

OSR:4/16. 3rd/4th round.
