Two year starter, Moore, OK. Second team All AAC in 2022. Athletic safety with experience at corner early in his career. Primarily used the past two seasons as a one high safety in cover one and three. Has some split zone experience along with occasionally rolling down to strong safety. Shows a fluid pedal in the deep zones and can easily flip his hips to centerfield turn gaining ground over the top. Changes directions well and shows range over the top. He’s generally quick to process route combinations and flashes vision to balance multiple threats. Flashes vision to see the delivery key while positioning on routes in deep zones. Shows a burst with the ball in the air and can get to the catch point. Wins most 50/50 battles and high points interception opportunities. Has been productive preventing completions when in position. As an overhang defender shows ability to get underneath intermediate routes and stress the quarterback looking for a window. Quick to break on short underneath throws. Can get downhill playing the run from deep and is a secure wrap up tackler. Not the most physical take on guy confronting a block and can easily be washed out. Will lock on to one receiver at times and open up a window. Occasionally gets looked off by the quarterback. Play recognition is inconsistent and at times takes too long processing. Can be late reacting to play action. Projects early as a backup in a zone heavy scheme and should have special team value.
