The definition of a twitched up corner he’s sudden in all reactions. He’s very undersized but compensates with hyper aggressive play. Has primarily played outside corner with some reps in the slot. Used both in press and off man along with outside third and quarters zone. As a press corner uses an off-hand jam to disrupt outside releases and is physical with receivers throughout the stem. Rarely gives up leverage. Extremely quick feet he can mirror and stay in phase through multiple breaks with the speed to cover deep. In off coverage has a smooth quick pedal with precise adjustments to pace. Flips his hips to turn and run with no wasted movement. If out of position can quickly turn 180 degrees to get back in phase. As a zone defender has vision to see the quarterback and threats. Quickly closes voids in overlapping zones. Has a sudden plant and drive with the ball in the air and explodes to the catch point. His leaping ability makes his catch radius much bigger than his size. Has outstanding ball skills to prevent completions. He can undercut a route or find the throwing lane to get to the ball. Has solid hands for interceptions. No fear in run support he can out run blocks and launch into tackles. Has some misses and near misses going low on shoestring tackles. Doesn’t always wrap on contact. His size is a factor as he can get out fought for high balls. Size is the concern but he has special team value and could develop as a sub package starter in the right scheme.
