Two-year starter, Rockledge, FL. Earned All-ACC honors in 2022. Has been a big play threat for the Tar Heels’ offense since the start of his career. He averaged just under 20 yards per reception since 2018. No matter who was under center, Green was able to get over the top of the secondary, track the deep pass, and come down with the ball in contested situations. He is a competitive player after the catch and can get away from defenders in space. Does not play a sudden game underneath and he needs to clean up some of the edges to his skill set, but this is the kind of athlete worth trying to develop on the back end of a roster. A playmaker with credible, long stride speed and burst. Can get on top of a press corner in a hurry and shows the extra gear once he gets vertical. Tracks the ball without a loss of control or speed. Gets to the ball at the apex of his leap and extension. Well-timed ball skills with strength and contact presence. Does not snap in and out of breaks. Has a hard time staying low and efficient on short routes. Needs to come back to the ball more assertively. Needs the extra step or two after the catch to get moving north. Has some all or nothing in his game.
