One-year starter, Crosby, MS. Wide frame, with a built upper body, muscular arms, and a long, massive lower half. Projects as a rotational zero-tech or one-tech at the next level. Shows solid upfield burst off the line-of-scrimmage when taking initial steps. Engages with physicality to create knockback at the point-of-attack. Excellent use of hands; shows great hand strength on contact, lands them in great position consistently, and works them inside when needed. Body type makes him difficult to move. Shows a good anchor when taking on double teams to eat up space, and utilizes great body control to maintain his balance and hold his own. Considerable ability to change direction matched with solid foot quickness helps him stunt and also retrace downfield. Shows impressive foot speed and pursuit ability considering his size. Solid athletic ability overall. Plays with a high motor especially when chasing the ball downfield. Finishes tackles with proper form when his name is called. Needs to improve his overall functional strength to take his game to the next level. Will not give up ground when engaged but also will not create push into the backfield. Needs to play with better pad level as he stands straight up out of his stance. Versus zone schemes, can get washed out and taken out of his gap responsibility. Cannot be relied upon in pass rush unless being utilized in stunts. Lacks creativity with his pass rush moves. Plays somewhat out of control when he reads pass; needs to see more of a plan.
