Five-year starter, Bromont, Quebec. Three-time All-MAC, first team in 2021 and 2022. Sow began his career at left tackle then made the full-time transition to left guard in 2020. He has the NFL body and power presence, capable of getting movement off the ball and playing sticky to his target. Bear-claws for hands. Strong latch coupled with a long, stiff, and violent punch gives him a lot of initial wins. Will create good movement off the snap as a run blocker when he gets the hips involved. Keeps the feet active and will stay on the right side of defenders. Rarely penalized. Shows repeatable techniques on an island with a strong anchor in pass protection. Will lose his balance and control as a side shuffler. Gets top heavy and will over-set. Does not see stunts and twists well and does not have the athleticism to make up for it. Seems to overestimate his speed on angle blocks. The baseline athletic ability is there, but there are shortcomings with consistency and fluidity. Sow checks a lot of boxes but does not bode well enough against procaliber speed and quickness at this point. The floor is high enough to expect him to make a roster and fill the back end of the depth chart.
