He has played as a two point wide nine, five, four-i and three technique in his time at Northwestern. Quick at the snap he plays with outstanding leverage. He sinks his hips on contact and can forklift an offensive lineman on his get off. Plays gap control and reads blocks to get ball side leverage, rarely loses the gap. Consistently plays at a pad level underneath blockers. Can stack and shed using heavy hands and long arms to lock out blockers. Adept at a quick arm under or over move to escape. Sets the edge and can come off a block inside. Plays with a relentless motor and chases to the sideline once free. Has made a lot of plays with second effort.
