Three-year starter, Millbrook, AL. First-team All-Sun Belt in 2022. Played all three interior line positions over his career, with the majority coming at right guard and center. His physical profile screams the latter. He is a short-armed, stocky player with tremendous lower body strength and flexibility. A constant winner of leverage battles, and the handwork is consistent. Has a tendency to struggle when he needs to show range laterally. The tremendous lower half and balance will always provide a fighting chance for him, though. Squatty body type with natural, ever-present knee bend and ankle flexion keeps him upright and square to his target. Stays on his feet and remains active. Accurate, fast hands that are always inside and can easily re-adjust when needed. Always appears to be under control and ready for recoil. Keeps his head on a swivel, rarely fooled by twists in front of his face. Reaches his points at the second level with proper angles and spacing. Produces high powered impact on the move. Limited reach and speed will hinder his impact against three techniques. Needs to get more depth in pass protection. Has a hard time sustaining proper footwork on an island in pass protection. Will over-commit to initial reads. His lack of length will dampen his margin for error positionally. Has the physical ability to play inside at the next level, but a lack of top end tools will make his margin for error razor thin.
