Ourlads' Profile:

2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about ELIJAH MOORE: Mississippi, 5090 185 4.35. Junior entry, three-year starter, Fort Lauderdale, FL. Took his game to another level in 2020, earning first-team All SEC and All-America honors after leading the nation in both catches and yards per game in the shortened season. The kind of playmaker who uses his lack of ideal size to his advantage in multiple ways. His stutter step quickness and burst are elite both as a ball carrier and route runner. He is a hard guy to touch, let alone wrap arms around and get to the ground. Has elite balance and vision which makes his ability to play with different gears downright dangerous. Projects as a slot at the next level that needs to get 7-10 touches per week whether it is in the passing game or on jet sweeps/reverses. Also adds potential return value. A scary player for the opposing defense to try and catch in the open field. Has limitations stemming from his size but can be a lethal weapon if used correctly. Can change direction while moving at his full rate of speed. Shows sharp and decisive running with the ball. Doesn’t waste any time getting up the field and will adjust on the fly when needed. Picks up every yard that is provided. Keeps himself low to the ground with plenty of twitch and balance. Sets defenders up and will make them slightly pause their pursuit with his stop and go ability. Catches a lot of balls away from his body on the move. Consistently gets open with reliable separation techniques and efforts. Knows how to play with different gears. Catch radius is small and gets swallowed up in traffic at times. A non factor when it comes to downfield and outside blocking. Had a lot of production carved out from the offensive scheme putting him into space on the move by himself. Loses some body control when tracking a deep ball over his shoulder. 2020 stats: 86-1193, 13.9 ypr, 8 TD. Second/third round. (A-30 1/8, H-9 3/8, VJ-36, SS-4.00).
