Ourlads' Profile:
2019 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about DEVIN SINGLETARY: Florida Atlantic, 5074 203 4.66. Junior entry and three year starter from Deerfield Beach, FL. Was first-team All Conference USA two years in a row. Production was through the roof, as he amassed 4681 yards and 67 touchdowns over his three year career. There are holes in his game that will limit his overall impact at the next level, but he cannot be ignored as a performer. He falls below both the desired size and speed lines, but there is a natural and easy feel to his movement with the ball. He can be a solid change of pace back that may be one of the surprises in this draft if he can fine tune his skill set. Slippery and low to the ground runner that can be difficult to square up for tacklers. Excels with late movement. Contact balance is a major plus and will create a lot after contact. Has multiple pairs of eyes all over his head, adjusting and cutting back on a near-routine basis. Doesn’t shy from contact, will play a physical game with and without the ball. A willing blocker. Small and underdeveloped with a frame that may not see much more growth. Overall athletic ability is average at best. His running style may not translate to the NFL where everyone is fast and strong rather than the occasional one to two defenders that meet the minimum profile. Gets too bounce happy. Won’t push the pile and he loses too many sure-yards inside. Inconsistent hands. 2018 stats: 1348 yds, 5.2 ypc, 22 TD, 6 rec, 36 yds, 6.0 ypr, 0 TD. OSR:23/24. Fifth/sixth round. (A-28 7/8, H-8 1/2, BP-15, SS-4.41).
