Ourlads' Profile:
2016 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about ISAAC SEUMALO: Oregon State, 6037 303 5.21. Junior entry from Corvallis, OR. Had 37 career starts - 23 at center, nine at right guard, three at left tackle, and two at right tackle. A versatile lineman who projects as an inside guard or center performer. A Pac-12 All-Academic player as well as a team captain. Injured his foot in the Hawaii Bowl the last game of the 2013 season and missed all of 2014. Started at center as a true freshman. Plays with a good base and a stout build when he bends his knees. Raw tools. Methodical in his play. Has power and push when he bends his knees and stays low. Struggles to handle edge speed and power as a tackle. He had a tough day versus DeForest Buckner. After missing all of 2014, Seumalo’s technique was off on the line of scrimmage as well as the second level. He took bad angles and struggled to anchor a bull rush. Inconsistent to move his feet in pass protection. He didn’t play balanced and got his hands knocked down on a regular basis. Needs to improve his use of hands and finish his blocks. Question awareness as a tackle missing a wide blitzing corner. A developmental inside player who will provide depth but needs to elevate his position skill level. OSR:22/47. Sixth/seventh round. (A-33, H-9 7/8, BP-DNP, 10-1.72).
