Ourlads' Profile:

2019 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about PARRIS CAMPBELL: Ohio State, 5117 205 4.33. Two year starter from Akron, OH. After a very successful high school track career, Campbell arrived at Ohio State and had to wait awhile before he made a big impact on offense. He turned from athlete to football player and ended his career with two straight All- Big 10 seasons, 2018 being a first-team honor. The team captain showed glimpses of elite, game breaking talent that is based on speed and easy movement. He is one of those players who is simply playing at a different speed than his opponents, no matter who is on the field. Still has some rawness to his game but receivers in the Ohio State offense don’t always get the full opportunity to show what they can really do. There is a boom or bust label next to his name, but at the very least he will be a dangerous return man and gimmick-player that opposing defenses do not want to deal with. World class speedster with a more-than adequate football body. Functionally muscular and moves with a different level of initial burst with an extra gear in his bag at all times. Faster than the guy that is chasing him, plain and simple. Not just a straight line mover. Can stop and go on a dime and shows the looseness in his hips to shift his way laterally without any loss of speed. Has a sense of smooth and easy even though he is moving faster than everyone else. Plus-vision with the ball in his hands, can create on his own and if he gets some space to work with, he is as dangerous as it gets. Has a lot of refinement to do as a pass catcher and route runner. His ability to separate from corners is not as high as it should be considering his athleticism. Rounds his routes and will take too long to get his head around to locate the football. 2018 stats: 90-1063, 11.8 ypr, 12 TD. OSR:3/42. Second/third round. (A-32 1/4, H-9 1/2, VJ-40, SS-4.06).
