Ourlads' Profile:

2018 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about ORLANDO BROWN: Oklahoma, 6077 345 5.83. Junior entry and three-year starter from Duluth, GA. Son of the late Orlando “Zeus” Brown, an 11-year NFL veteran. After a successful three year career as the starting left tackle for the high powered offense at Oklahoma, he enters the league as one of the more polarizing prospects in the class. His collegiate honors go on and on - Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year, first-team All-America, and Outland Trophy finalist. One thing Brown has on every other tackle in the class is his top tier, borderline rare, length. He can win a lot of one-on-one battles because of it. When he is accurate with his hands, he can be off balance with minimal knee bend and feet stuck in the mud, yet still win. He is a tough guy to get around. The easy power that is derived from his punch is enough to knock almost any defender backwards violently. When the action is right in front of him, there are few blockers who can make an impact the way Brown does. However once he is asked to quickly move laterally or adjust to the defense, his warts show up. His hands are all over the place. He is wide with them, low with them, high with them, and it leads to more than his share of holding penalties. His body language and inconsistent hustle, knee bend, and attention to detail throw up red flags about his motivation and conditioning. With his size and foot speed, Brown should have been a better player. Lacks ideal NFL athletic ability for a tackle. There are doubts about both how badly he wants it and the desire to be the best. Boom or bust prospect. OSR:38/38. Third/fourth round. (A-35, H-9 3/4, BP-14, 10-1.98).
