Ourlads' Profile:
2015 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about SHAQUILLE MASON: Georgia Tech, 6015 310 4.98. Three-year starter at right guard. From Columbia, TN. Shorter than ideal at guard, but may project inside at center. Plays with good balance and body control. Flashes a quick handed boxer’s explosive punch. Powerful base blocker in Tech’s option offense. Plays with leverage and strength. Ninety percent of his weight is coming forward. Tech only spends about 30 minutes a week on pass pro, so Mason has a lot to learn. Well built upper and lower body. Has very good lower body flexibility. Can anchor a bull rush with leverage. Was a late addition to the Senior Bowl. Plays hard with grit and determination. Very competitive. Plays with a short base but with very functional athletic movement to get position and leverage inline defenders. Not invited to Combine. Pro day numbers were: 9-2/BJ, 4.64/SS, 7.55/3 cone. Fifth/ sixth round. (A-31 1/8, H-9 1/2, BP-25, 10-1.72).
