Ourlads' Profile:
2018 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about MIKE WHITE: Western Kentucky, 6045 224 5.12. Four-year starter from Pembroke Pines, FL. He started two years at South Florida and sat out 2015 due to NCAA requirements before transferring to Western Kentucky. He does a nice job of climbing the pocket then throwing an accurate pass down the field. The aggressive pocket passer has good footwork and field awareness. Demonstrated good timing on slam and drag routes. He is particularly proficient between the numbers. Plays in a spread offense that is quarterback friendly. The Hilltoppers were last with only 60.85 yards per game rushing in 2017 so White had to carry the offense and he did, completing over 65 percent of his passes. He works from the pocket with anticipation and timing plus has a feel for the throw. He finds the open receiver. Has the ability to extend plays to buy time. He is not a gifted runner but gets by. A student of the game, he is decisive under pressure. Throws a tight spiral. A rhythm and timing passer. Not as accurate when he rolls out and throws off his back foot. The offense changed with a new coach when Jeff Brohn went to Purdue, but White book-ended a pair of 4000 yard seasons. 2017 stats: 368/560, 4177 yds, 65.7%, 26 TD, 8 INT, -268 yds rushing, 6 TD, 140.8 QB rating. Ball velocity 55 mph. OSR:18/18. Fourth/fifth round. (A-31 7/8, H-9 1/2, SS-4.40, VJ-27).
