Ourlads' Profile:

2022 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about CALEB JONES:

Indiana, 6086 362 5.40. Three-year starter, Indianapolis, IN. Has experience at both tackle spots. Jones is a project who comes with an enormous upside. He is not a high enough caliber athlete right now but his power, size, and reach can hide a few shortcomings if his techniques and bend become more consistent. Has elite-level power. When he does square a man up, he gets tremendous movement upon contact. There are enough flashes on tape to go along with rare size to warrant at least a practice squad spot. A giant among men. Elite level height and wingspan with sloth-length arms. Sturdy frame that could resemble running into a boulder for defenders. Simply a hard guy to get around for pass rushers. A comfortable mover once he gets going. Proven to be an effective lead blocker in space both in the screen and run game. Will get to the second level and toss linebackers around like little kids. Has shown the ability to bend at the knees and play square to his man. Not a natural athlete when it comes to speed reaction and agility. Has a hard time picking up his feet, too often stays stagnant and relies on upper body length. Rarely wins a leverage battle. Base gets too narrow. Needs a lot of lower body work, both with strength and quickness.

Seventh round/PFA. (A-36, H-9, BP-18, 10-1.88).
