Ourlads' Profile:
2022 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about PEYTON HENDERSHOT:
Indiana, 6041 250 4.80. Four-year starter, North Salem, IN. Athletic with decent feet. Play weight fluctuates. Will need to settle or become consistent in physical preparation. Short arms. Able to run a myriad of complex underneath routes. Struggles as anchor on slide protections away from his alignment. Character questions will influence some decision makers to drop his value. Maximizes a limited catch radius. Plays tight end like a basketball player. Struggles with catching the harder thrown passes. Extends hands consistently at catch point. Exhibits some hip stiffness that limits his lateral explosiveness. Decent balance and footwork in and out of breaks. Stiffness in hips shows up in posture in and out of transition. Displays athleticism and toughness on runs after the catch. Technically sound as a blocker, however hip stiffness limits his drive and ability to both cut-off inside gap charges and to reach wide-aligned defenders. A high effort run blocker with hip stiffness limitations. Smaller than average hands for position group. Does not consistently create separation versus linebackers. Slides off of far too many blocks. Loses defenders as a blocker, an issue created from hip stiffness.
