Ourlads' Profile:

2022 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about RASHEED WALKER:

Penn State, 6060 310 5.20. Junior entry, three-year starter, Waldorf, MD. Earned third team All-Big 10 honors in 2020. Walker has all the tools and traits to be a quality starting tackle in the NFL. His size and athleticism are hard to find together in one player. When his techniques are lined up, they come together and create quality blocking. Has the suddenness and explosive hands to redirect defenders while keeping the lower half active and fast. His issues revolve around inconsistent spacing between his feet. It causes him to lose balance and power, notably in pass protection when he needs to move to his outside shoulder. In time, Walker can be a high-end player but he will need quality coaching, patience, and an unwavering work ethic. Has the prototype-build. Carries his weight with ease and has the frame to handle more mass. Length up top is a plus and plays with athletic, quick feet. Has a sense of lightness to his movement below the waist. Does a nice job of attacking the defender with his hands. Shows urgency to get his hands on first with accuracy, gaining the initial control while his feet keep moving. Initial body control and balance is there to maximize his length and positioning. Will start off square and strong. Snaps out of his stance with sudden burst and explosion which evolves into power. Snappy contact that has a sense of violence to it. Needs to build more sustainable power in his frame, head to toe. Does not have the natural strength to make up for any positional shortcomings if he is initially beat. Will not often create a new line of scrimmage as a run blocker. Footwork is inconsistent. Sometimes way too narrow, sometimes way too wide which creates a loss of balance and poor recovery. Will get tall at times, needs to make the pad level more repeatable.

Third/fourth round. (A-33 5/8, H-10 5/8, BP-DNP, 10-DNP).
