The team captain has won awards for leadership and intangible qualities. Brings position versatility to the table, having seen snaps at all five spots along the offensive line over his career. His lack of speed and quickness will likely land him inside at the next level. A top-heavy power presence that will fit best into a gap blocking scheme. A hard guy to move off his point and should be able to protect the passer well enough inside. His heavy movement and lack of natural bend below the waist are elements that need to be improved over time. Projects to be a quality backup presence at the next level. Powerful bruiser that gets tremendous movement off the ball when he has everything lined up. Gets a solid initial push and plays wide. Makes it difficult for defenders to get around him. Can anchor against the bull rush and stop a locomotive dead in its tracks. Plays a smart game, quick to see stunts and twists. Knows to keep the feet active. Can hand defenders off as he peels off to the next. One solid punch is often good enough to take a second level defender out. Plays a top-heavy style and will have a hard time adjusting that based on his body type. Inaccurate hands, setting him up for poor initial positions and he lacks the athleticism to recover. All or nothing in space. Will whiff on linebackers too often. Does not play fast or explosive at any moment. Labors to cut block, simply takes too long to reach his point. Lower body bend is not natural.
