Ourlads' Profile:
2022 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about TEAGAN QUITORIANO:
Oregon State, 6056 256 4.75. Four-year starter, Salem, OR. Earned Honorable Mention All-Pac 12 honors in both 2020 and 2021. Was a two-sport star in high school that also excelled on the hardwood. Brings that kind of skill set to the table; a power forward capable of using his big frame to box out defenders and his quick feet to get initial advantages. The tool set he has should fit in nicely toward the bottom of a depth chart. With the role he expects to play as an in-line tight end, he needs to get much stronger. Had issues sustaining blocks. His lack of athleticism, especially when moving laterally, will not permit him to be a true big-time threat as a receiver. Should be able to find a role as an underneath threat in the red zone on third down. Limited upside but with a high enough floor. Has the prototype build and frame for the classic Y tight end position. Well distributed thickness throughout with solid twitch and movement skills. Effective vertical mover with a quick start and long strides once in the open field. Tough in traffic. Strength and power show up at the catch point and he couples that with excellent coordination and timing. A big, inviting target with a wide radius. Can pick up yards after the catch with sudden upfield burst and toughness to break tackles. Does not have the quick-twitch as a lateral mover. Needs extra time to adjust his weight and make breaks left/right. Predictable route runner. Does not move defenders as a blocker the way he is capable of. Does not latch on and struggles to mirror.
2021 stats: 19-214, 11.3 ypr, 3 TD. Sixth/seventh round. (A-33 1/2, H-9 1/4, VJ-32, SS-4.50).
