Has an ideal body type for the position which gives him a sense of upside and potential that could eventually mold into a quality presence inside. He may never be a big-time pass rusher but his size and power can help a defense out in a big way. Not elusive, nor does he adjust very well laterally, but he creates a new line of scrimmage or can maintain gap control against double teams repeatedly. He is the alpha-male in a group full of guys that think they’re the alpha. Immense power that complements his ideal prototype-frame. Wide, fire hydrant body type with a rare blend of length and thickness. Ideal weight distribution from head to toe. Has the upper body of a powerlifter. Shows more twitch out of his snap as his confidence and awareness grows. Effective hand strike out of his stance can stand a blocker up. Maintains proper pad level throughout. Controls gaps and will make the athletic play when he is near the action. Stiff ankles further enhance the athletic shortcomings. Gets heavy-footed post engagement and does not show enough wiggle to shake free. Minimal effectiveness as a pass rusher. Does not have the variety to mix things up when it comes to lateral, late movement.
