Ourlads' Profile:
2022 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about ZAMIR WHITE:
Georgia, 5116 214 4.40. Two-year starter, Laurinburg, NC. Has been a key piece to the Bulldogs’ backfield rotation from the beginning. The team’s leading rusher each of the past two seasons and team captain brings a physical, no-nonsense approach to carrying the football. Consistently runs behind his pads and gains yards after contact. Shows the ability to make aggressive, explosive cuts left and right but will also show no hesitation in putting his head down and pushing the pile. The two glaring negatives here are a lack of experience in the passing game (17 career receptions) and past injuries (tore both ACLs). While the lack of creativity and wiggle can limit his running style, he excels at what he does so much that it will warrant a spot as a power back on a pro depth chart. Well-built below and above the waist with minimal bad weight. Plays hard when he gets the ball in his hands. Will lower his pads against oncoming traffic with ease and truly runs behind them. Has an explosive burst out of his lateral cuts that can create space in a phone booth. Efficient path up the field thanks to excellent vision and quick decision making. Will create yards after contact on a consistent basis. A one-cut runner that lacks wiggle and looseness. Does not have the kind of top end speed and agility to create big plays on a repeatable basis. Rarely used as a pass catcher and has some ball security shortcomings.
2021 stats: 856 yds, 5.4 ypc, 11 TD. OSR:3/28. Third/fourth round. (A-31 1/2, H-8 1/2, BP-DNP, SS-DNP).
