Left high school as the all-time leading scorer in basketball and the all-time leader in home runs on the baseball field. His success on the gridiron, ending with the top award in the nation as a senior, speaks volumes of how much he can excel at anything he takes part in. He is not the top shelf athlete, and he falls just short of ideal size, but his production and feel for the game across multiple domains creates a near-sure thing at the next level. He is as competitive as it gets and there is a skill set both as a blocker and receiver that should land him a starting job early in his career. He specializes at coming away with the ball in traffic and will put everything he has into beating his man in the running game. Thick but nimble and precise athlete. Strength everywhere from hands to feet. Excellent coordination and body control in traffic. Upper and lower body are in complete sync with each other whether he is attacking the ball or blocking. A dominant force in contested situations. Snappy, strong hands that swallow the ball on contact. Immediate control and strong grip with elite accuracy and timing. Makes the tough catch on a routine basis. Feisty blocker that fights to get his hands inside. Can re-grip while keeping himself square to the man with an active and strong lower half. Aggressive player who will match high intensity snap to snap. Falls below the ideal body height and length for the position. Carries a frame that appears maxed out, furthering the notion he is slightly undersized. Speed and snap out of his breaks look lethargic. Does not play explosive or overly fast. Separation via routes will be tough to acquire.
