Was born in Nigeria then moved to Scotland in 2007 before coming to America for high school. Originally a soccer and basketball player, Ojabo did not start playing football until his junior year. His speed won him the New Jersey state prep title in 100-meter dash with a time of 10.93. He is a top-shelf athlete that started to figure things out in 2021. He entered the season with just 26 snaps under his belt but proved he can be an absolute game wrecker from the outside. While he still has some physical development to take on, the tools fit the prototype of any and every edge role in the NFL. Once he understands the game more and can always play to his true speed, the sky is the limit. He will need time before he can be an every down player though. Tall and long frame with plenty of room to add more mass in time. Has a sprinter’s lower body capable of top-end straightline burst and closing speed. Can beat tackles up the edge and shows an explosive upper body capable of turning his movement into power. Quick to react to the action and will play a physical brand when approaching the ball carrier. Savvy near the ball. Finds the creases and will use his length to jar the ball loose. Strong finisher that will create plays for the defense both in and out of structure. Only has one season of notable playing experience. Has a frame that needs more mass and strength, especially below the waist. Will get hesitant when approaching a blocker, showing a lack of ever-present confidence in his plan. Struggled to win when attacking the inside shoulder. A one-trick pony now when it comes to the pass rush skill set.
