Ourlads' Profile:
2022 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about LEWIS CINE:
Georgia, 6022 199 4.37. Junior entry, two-year starter, Cedar Hill, TX. Second-team All-SEC in 2021. Has desired height and length for a deep safety. Came on strong for Georgia’s talented defense showing improved range and elite downhill ability down the stretch. Has made some big plays in key situations. Plays two and one high along with dropping to the box and forcing the run. As an over-the-top zone defender, balances multiple routes and can react over the top of a vertical route on the quarterback’s delivery. Sudden to break on the ball, he can get to the catch point over the top. Has separated receivers from the ball with some well-timed hits. Extends for interception opportunities. Shows quickness tracking downhill from depth and makes the adjustments to tackle in space. Solid wrap tackler, he can be explosive at times launching into tackles. In the box he can match inside receivers with the speed to cover up the field on a seam route. Above average mirror ability he can match most route breaks. Shows undercover skill getting under intermediate routes and driving forward on flat throws. Lacks a consistently smooth backpedal which can be herky-jerky at times. As a result, transitions can be a little delayed. Can get separated versus a shifty receiver on extended routes. Will give up yards after contact to a physical ball carrier. Has played out of control at times with bad angles in pursuit. That said, he improved in this area as the 2021 season went on. Has the ability to contribute day one and develop into a solid twoway safety.
2021 stats: 73 T, 2 TFL, 9 PBU, 1 QBH, 1 INT. OSR:2/16. Second/third round. (A-32 1/4, H-9 3/8, VJ-36.5, SS-DNP).
