Ourlads' Profile:

2019 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about MILES BOYKIN: Notre Dame, 6036 220 4.42. One year starter from Tinley Park, IL. After nearly three years of backup and spot duty, Boykin led the Irish in catches, yards, and touchdowns. He broke out of his shell and blossomed into a prospect that screams upside. The physical package he brings to the table doesn’t come around often and he proved he was more than an untouched ball of clay as a senior. There isn’t a lot of natural receiver to him when it comes to the skill sets of route running and ball skills, but if he continues on the progression path he put himself on in 2018, he can be a very solid number two at the next level and a weapon in the red zone. A true workout warrior that has put together solid production over his career. Has long stride speed where he can continue to run away from defensive backs the further downfield he gets. Brings a physical element to the game that can overtake and dominate smaller defenders. Factors as a blocker. Lacks fluidity and natural movement. Everything seems manufactured and high-effort. Struggles to maintain his balance and control while moving at a high rate. Eye-hand coordination is inconsistent. Slows himself down too often. Route running doesn’t create separation. 2018 stats: 59-872, 14.8 ypr, 8 TD. OSR:1/42. Third/fourth round. (A-33 1/2, H-9 7/8, VJ-43.5, SS-4.09).
