A team captain during both his junior and senior year and holds the Nebraska all-time records for career all-purpose yards, career carries, career 300-yard all-purpose games, and season 200- yard rushing games. The only player in Nebraska history to have three 1,000-yard rushing seasons and ranks second on Nebraska’s all-time rushing chart with 4,296 career rushing yards. Explosive and quick with very good acceleration. Has the vision and cutback ability to find the right holes and make defenders miss. A tough runner who finishes runs and also has the ability to be an effective pass receiver out of the backfield. While size may limit his ability to become a workhorse featured back at the next level, he should fit very nicely in a time share backfield side by side with more a powerful/bruising type of runner. Good initial quickness and run instincts with the ability to create. Has a natural feel for running the ball. Very good balance and runs with a low pad level. Good vision with the ability to be quick to the hole. Bursts through crease and has cutback ability versus flow. Good eye/hand coordination. Undersized for the position. Willing pass blocker, but his lack of size limits his ability to be effective.
