Ourlads' Profile:
2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about ISRAEL MUKUAMU: South Carolina, 6040 205 4.50. Junior entry, two-year starter, Bossier City, LA. A tall high cut corner that has experience at safety. Used in press man and zone he has played a variety of technique including press off coverage with a lateral run shuffle and run. In press man he flashes ability to disrupt routes and the line with an off-hand jam. He is relatively fluid for a big corner and his turn and run keeps him in phase on vertical route. His length is worth at least a step in coverage as he can be difficult to throw over. In deep outside zone coverage he keeps his back to the boundary rather than a traditional pedal and shuffles into a lateral run. He maintains a proper cushion and can be sudden on his plant and drive with the ball in the air. Has ball skills and a catch radius that allows him to go up and get balls at the catch point. In run support again his length helps separating from blocks. He can be physical and is an aggressive tackler. Has to work to gather and finish due to his frame. That said his long arms rarely let him miss a tackle. In press man at times he whiffs on a jam and is in recovery mode. Struggles with route breaks from shifty receivers and can get separated on quick double moves. His best position may be safety and he has played well inside with limited opportunities. Some teams may look at him as the big corner needed to combat some of the big NFL receivers. He will battle and still has upside. 2020 stats: 10 T, 2 INT. Fourth/fifth round. (A-34, H-9 3/8, VJ-36.5, SS-NA).
