Ourlads' Profile:

2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about NOAH GRAY: Duke, 6035 240 4.70. Two-year starter, Leominster, MA. Earned second-team All ACC honors in 2019. Gray is a chess piece that can be moved around pre-snap in an offense that likes to use motion and versatile skill position players. He is a technically proficient, throwback player who does a lot of the little things right to help him exceed the sum of his parts. Quick enough and has shown soft hands and toughness in traffic to pose as a threat underneath and intermediate. If a team wants a number two tight end that can also play some fullback, Gray is the guy. Quick footed and versatile H-back type that can be moved around pre snap. Can make it happen at the point of attack with his hand in the dirt as well as behind the quarterback as a fullback. Plays with a ton of attention to detail no matter what his role is. Techniques as a blocker are on point. Excellent stutter step quickness that aids him as both a route runner and blocker in space. Reliable hands that can pose as a threat underneath. Assignment-savvy player who plays hard all the time. Limited tool set when it comes to size and speed. Won’t pose as a downfield threat and doesn’t show playmaking ability with the ball in his hands. Lacks push at the point of attack. Not an overly powerful blocker. Needs to get his hands and base stronger so he can sustain ground against pro linemen. 2020 stats: 29-285, 9.8 ypr, 2 TD. Sixth/seventh round. (A-31 1/2, H-9 3/8, VJ-35, SS-4.45).
