Ourlads' Profile:

2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about DREW DALMAN: Stanford, 6033 286 5.00. Junior entry, three-year starter, Salinas, CA. All Pac-12 in his final two seasons including a first-team honor in 2020. The son of former NFL offensive lineman and Super Bowl champion, Chris Dalman. Drew appears to be heading toward a similar if not better trajectory. He is ultra-advanced when it comes to technique, smarts, and repeatability. He displays a rare level of consistent balance and body control and it is a big part of his game. Zone blocking schemes will favor him more so than the power blocking schemes, but this is a kid who can do it all and should be NFL ready week one. Top tier quickness, balance, and use of leverage. Has the foot speed and short area quickness that can rival the fastest linebackers. Whether he needs to move laterally or vertically, always beats the defender to the meeting point. Outstanding stability in his lower half. Maintains a wide and bendy base with his chest and eyes up. Can stick to speed and quickness. Rarely caught in a bad position as a result of his smarts and superb body control. Easy bender that has the required flexibility in all of his joints from the hips down. Gets and keep his hands inside. Smart player that is quick to diagnose and even quicker to react. Undersized and appears to have a frame that is already maxed out. Gives up too much ground on initial contact. Can be exposed when left on an island against someone that can out-size or out-muscle him. Lack of pass protection anchor can really shrink a pocket. Fourth/fifth round. (A-31 1/2, H-10 1/2, BP-NA, 10-NA).
