Ourlads' Profile:

2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about QUINN MEINERZ: UW-Whitewater, 6032 320 4.99. Three-year starter, Hartford, WI. Earned first-team All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference two times in addition to being named first-team Division III All America in 2019. He was the most talented but also the hardest working player on the team, on and off the field. Won a team award for offseason strength and conditioning work. The two-time team captain sat out last fall because the school postponed its season, but he showed up to the Senior Bowl and simply dominated all week. He is a plus athlete with the exact type of body and power you would expect from a Wisconsin axe man. Plays with grit, intelligence, and strength that rarely comes out of the Division III level. While the jump in competition is enormous and he did have to spend 2020 on the outside looking in, he is a safe bet to start at one of the three inside positions within a year or two at the next level. Barrel-chested with thickness in all the right places. Explosive upper body and smooth feet. Gets his hands on violently and abruptly post-snap and has a long reach. Has accuracy and coordination that aids him getting the inside position. Understands and uses quality leverage. Will keep the feet moving  while he can slide laterally to mirror. Anchor is there and easily called upon. Plays with tremendous effort and grit. Will instantly increase the swagger and nastiness of an offensive line. Versatility is a plus, can realistically project to all three inside spots. A team leader who works his tail off during the offseason. Will be making an enormous jump in competition in addition to not playing in 2020. Learning curve both mentally and physically will be a challenge at first. Needs to put more attention on the accuracy and timing of his footwork. Won’t be able to simply outmuscle defenders at the point of attack the way he did in college. Feet get stuck in pass protection at times, putting too much attention on his hands and losing his positional advantage. Third/fourth round. (A-33, H-10 1/4, BP-35, 10-1.73).
