A versatile prospect with experience in a three point on the edge and off the ball as a linebacker. Aligned on the edge he is sudden at the snap, he engages a blocker with a quick punch. He flashes hand usage to stun and separate from the block. His frame and wingspan allows him to get blockers off his frame and shed working to the ball. Excellent chase player he can pursue across the field and has caught ball carriers from behind at or close to the line. In off the ball, opportunities can move laterally and quickly change directions working the inside and outside run. Has been an effective inside blitzer. As a pass rusher snap quickness can get him into a blocker and around the corner. Uses an arm under to get low and around the hip of the blocker and close on the quarterback. Also goes wide clubbing the blockers hands to get free. Has been effective on inside stunts penetrating gaps. Occasionally a physical tackle can lock him up at the line. He rarely stays blocked as he shows great second effort and keeps moving to the ball. Has limited reps in coverage and is somewhat hesitant in zone concepts such as depth of drop and route recognition. Has flashed man to man skill peeling and redirecting on a back but overall is somewhat hesitant in coverage situations. He has the agility and chase ability but will need development. As a pass rusher he relies on his speed to get around the corner and sometimes goes too wide and takes himself out of the play. Has the upside to be a solid 3-4 outside linebacker and edge rusher.
