Ourlads' Profile:
2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about KYLE TRASK: Florida, 6050 242 5.08. Two-year starter, Manvel, TX. Was a backup in high school to current Miami Hurricanes quarterback D’Eriq King. Trask took over starting duties after the injury to Feleipe Franks and never looked back. Finished his career strong, setting a school record with 43 passing touchdowns while earning first-team All SEC honors and ending up a Heisman finalist. Started off the season red hot but fizzled out a bit later in the year. This is a classic pocket passer with tremendous size and arm talent. Above average athlete, he performs well enough on the move and can maintain good presence against contact. Won’t be in the first tier of quarterbacks that go in the top half of round one, but he brings similar upside as a couple of them. Big time size on all fronts. Tall, thick, and athletic. Can handle contact from defenders with ease. Excellent arm talent when it comes to power, release, and accuracy. Can seamlessly make every throw. Tough and big-bodied, capable of playing through traffic. Will keep his eyes downfield as he climbs the pocket. Shows solid deep-ball prowess. Coordinated athlete for his size that maintains accuracy on the move. Brave decision maker with a short memory. Elevates his game to a completely new level when his confidence is high. Has had a few downright dominant stretches in the SEC. Struggles to consistently process information quickly. Forces the ball into windows he shouldn’t. Needs better situational decision-making ability. Too fast to evade pocket when pressure gets close up the middle. Lower half mechanics are inconsistent. Shows some stiffness in his hips and ankles. Just a hair too late on throws over middle. 2020 stats: 301/ 437, 4283 yds, 68.9%, 43 TD, 8 INT, 50 yds rushing, 3 TD, 180.02 QB rating. Third/fourth round. (A-33, H-10 1/8, SS-4.38, VJ-31.5).
